Workshop 4 - Debating and Critical Thinking Skills

On December 16th, 2023, the fourth and final workshop in the Wired Youth: Science Forum project took place at the Valletta Design Cluster from 9 am to 1 pm. This session focused on honing debating and critical thinking skills, crucial for the upcoming parliamentary and international debates.

Facilitated by representatives from Esplora, Agenzija Zghazagh and the Malta Chamber of Scientists, the workshop featured an escape-room-inspired format. Participants were challenged to solve a series of pen-and-paper puzzles and race against the clock to outsmart a hacker. This engaging approach helped the young attendees develop their problem-solving abilities and sharpen their analytical thinking, all while learning the essentials of effective debating.
